Curt Olson, founder and current owner, was raised on a farm in North Central Iowa.  He holds degrees in music from St. Olaf College and in nursing from Mercy College of Health Sciences.  Before opening Do-Biz, Curt was a travel agent.  Curt opened his first Do-Biz in 1982 in Ames, Iowa.  He added two more locations in Des Moines, Iowa, and Lincoln Nebraska.  Unfortunately for the cookie connoisseur, Curt stopped baking cookies in 2002.  After a long break, Curt is well rested and ready to start baking again.  With the help of one of his former employees and his employees’ son.
